JOHANNESBURG (CAJ News) – SAP officials want the upcoming SAPHILA, Africa’s essential business technology conference and the largest SAP customer-run conference on African soil, will be the biggest to date.
The event will coincide with the business management software company’s 40th anniversary celebrations.
“SAPHILA is obviously a massive event for us. This year, we are aiming to pull off a brilliant show that will be the biggest SAPHILA edition ever,” SAP Africa Chief Operations Officer, Derek Kudsee, said.
The event is scheduled for October at Sun City in Rustenburg, South Africa.
SAPHILA brings together unparalleled insights and opportunities from premier business technology conferences all in one place.
From customer-driven education and best practices to visionary technology and business strategies, the conference offers a unique platform for attendees to see their business from all angles providing invaluable knowledge sharing and networking opportunities for SAP customers, partners, business team members and industry experts.
SAPHILA, loosely translated as 'plenty of life' in the local vernacular, is hosted by the African SAP User Group and supported by SAP Africa.
Previously attended by over 1 300 delegates in 2010, this year’s conference is expecting upwards of 1 600 participants and is designed to allow SAP’s solutions experts, their partners and customers to come together and share best practice in implementing SAP technologies.
